Is it permissible to add hair extensions using highlights (mèche), and does this nullify the prayer, whether the extensions or the dye are used?

"Highlighting" (Maysh) refers to two types: dyeing hair, which is permissible as long as it is not black or harmful. The second type is hair extensions, which are forbidden. In both cases, highlighting does not invalidate the prayer unless it prevents water from reaching the original hair during ablution (Wudu') or the skin during the ritual bath (Ghusl).
