How can the Prophet’s (PBUH) vision of people being tormented in Hell and others enjoying bliss in Paradise—as mentioned in the Hadiths of the Mi'raj and others—be reconciled with the fact that the Day of Resurrection has not yet occurred, and people have not yet been judged or recompensed?

There is no contradiction between the Prophet's (peace be upon him) vision of what he saw on the night of Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj and the non-occurrence of the Hour and the reckoning of people. This could be part of the torment and bliss of the grave, both of which are established by the Qur'an and Sunnah, as in the Almighty's saying: "The Fire, they are exposed to it morning and afternoon. And the Day the Hour appears [it will be said], 'Admit the people of Pharaoh to the severest punishment!'" (40:46), and as in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying regarding the occupants of the two graves: "Indeed, they are being tormented, and they are not being tormented for a major sin." This might also be among the unseen matters that Allah revealed to His Prophet, and there is no problem in that for the believer in Allah's absolute power and knowledge. However, if the intention is to reconcile the hadiths that describe those who delve into people's honor, then there is no contradiction between the weak hadith that mentions eating carrion and the authentic hadith that mentions scratching faces. Both situations could be a description of the torment of different categories of people or two types of torment for the same category.
