Is it permissible to resort to a healer who asks for a bead to be placed in the home to resolve the magic of separation and binding and to restore life to normal, especially after trying many treatments without success, and would this be considered a matter of necessity?

One should not be quick to attribute problems to sorcery and envy (evil eye). Rather, one must consider the apparent causes and treat them through lawful means. Sorcery is treated by relying on Allah, maintaining the prescribed incantations (adhkar) and ruqyah (definition) (legal exoricsm), supplicating persistently, and seeking assistance from Qur’an healers known for their adherence to Islamic law. It is forbidden to go to sorcerers and charlatans. Wearing beads for protection or to attract love is considered a form of amulet (tamimah) and bewitchment (tiwalah), which is a type of shirk (definition) (polytheism); as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, incantations (ruqa), amulets (tama'im), and bewitchment (tiwalah) are shirk." This belief that these things can ward off harm or bring benefit leads to shirk, because none can benefit or harm except Allah the Almighty.
