Is it permissible to take from the inherited wealth of one's father if its source is doubtful?

There is no harm in benefiting from this inheritance, for the basic principle regarding a Muslim's wealth is that it is lawful, and one is not prevented from benefiting from it merely based on doubt. However, it is more prudent and absolves one's conscience to spend it on good deeds.
