The answer

If wind (gas) is emitted from the anus, even if it is a small amount, then ablution (wudu') and prayer must be redone, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Allah does not accept the prayer of anyone of you if he passes wind until he performs ablution." However, if it is emitted from the front (vagina or penis), there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding ablution for it. One must be cautious of Satan's whispers and confirm the emission of wind before redoing ablution and prayer. If it is continuous, then it has a different ruling.
