Can a Christian wife inherit from her Muslim husband? Is it permissible for a husband to bequeath a portion of his inheritance to his non-Muslim wife?

The disbelieving wife does not inherit from her Muslim husband, by the consensus of the scholars, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim." As for bequeathing to her, it is permissible.
