How is the inheritance divided among four sons, a wife, and two daughters?

The inheritance is divided as follows: the wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, as Allah Almighty says: "But if you have a child, then for them is one-eighth of what you leave." The remainder goes to the children by way of ta'sib (agnatic succession), with the male receiving the share of two females, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females."

The origin of the estate is eight, and it is corrected to eighty shares: the wife receives ten shares, and seventy shares remain for the children. Each daughter receives seven shares, and each son receives fourteen shares.

It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts for investigation, as there might be an unknown heir, or wills, or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
