What should I do about some young men's obscene language at work, knowing that my repeated advice to them has not yielded results?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, urged the selection of good company and the avoidance of bad company. It is narrated in the Hadith: "The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the musk seller and the blacksmith's bellows." The Holy Quran condemned gatherings of falsehood and idle talk, describing believers as those who "turn away from idle talk" (23:3), and this includes every forbidden word and deed. The most detested people by Allah are those who are obscene and vulgar, and "The believer is not a slanderer, nor a cursing person, nor an obscene speaker, nor one who utters vulgarities." Therefore, you must rebuke those who speak obscenely. If they do not respond, then avoid their gatherings as much as possible, and occupy yourself with what benefits you in your religion and your afterlife.
