The answer

Prophets are human beings, and they experience what humans experience in terms of bodily functions like eating and excreting. This does not detract from them; rather, it is part of their perfection, as Allah the Almighty said: "And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], any messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets." And Allah the Almighty said concerning Christ and his mother: "They both ate food," which is an allusion to defecation and urination, and it indicates that they were human beings. There are many proofs from the Sunnah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to relieve himself.
