Among the biographical works are: "Hilyat al-Awliya", "Sifat al-Safwah", "Al-Siyar" by Al-Dhahabi, "Al-Bidaya" by Ibn Kathir, and "Al-Isabah" by Ibn Hajar.
As for books containing their jurisprudential sayings, consensus, and differing opinions, these include: "Al-Tamheed" by Ibn Abd al-Barr, "Sunan al-Bayhaqi", "Al-Muhalla" by Ibn Hazm, "Al-Ishraf" and "Al-Awsat" by Ibn al-Mundhir, "Musannaf Abd al-Razzaq", "Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah", and "Al-Ijma'" by Ibn al-Qattan.
