How can one reconcile the Hadith "None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself" with Allah's saying, "And for that let those who aspire, aspire"?

The verse about competing in good deeds does not contradict the Hadith about loving for others what you love for yourself, because a believer loves all good for his Muslim brother and does not dislike anyone sharing with him in obedience. Rather, he encourages people to compete in matters of the Hereafter, as this is part of fulfilling the duty of advising his brothers. One who is displeased with himself does not wish for Muslims to be like him in deficiency; rather, he wishes for them to be better than him, and he wishes for himself to be better than he is.
