How is the Hajj mentioned in the Quran, while there is no mention of pilgrimage to the Sacred House of Allah (Kaaba) among Jews and Christians? Are there any texts in the Torah and the Gospel that command pilgrimage to the Sacred House? And was the first Qiblah of the Muslims, Jerusalem, also the Qiblah for those who came before us?

The absence of mention of Hajj in the books of Jews and Christians does not negate its legitimacy in their laws, because their books have been distorted, and many rulings have been omitted from them. The Qur’an clarifies for them what they differed about, and what they distorted and omitted. Allah commanded Abraham to call to Hajj, and this indicates its obligation since that time. The prophets performed Hajj to the Sacred House, among them Moses and Jonah. The Prophet also informed that Jesus will perform Hajj and Umrah at the end of time.
