What is the ruling on taking up a job whose contract includes deducting a sum from the salary, to which twice that amount is added, and which is disbursed to the employee as a retirement pension or less than the salary if they leave before the specified period, in addition to compulsory health insurance, knowing the scarcity of job opportunities?

It is permissible to participate in cooperative health insurance (takaful), but it is not permissible to voluntarily participate in commercial insurance, which is forbidden. If an employer subscribes on behalf of an employee, the employee may only benefit from it within the limits of what the employer subscribed to. Similarly, if someone is compelled to subscribe, they may not take more than what they subscribed to.
