Is it permissible for a woman to interact with men in her field of work, especially in medical laboratories?

If a woman is compelled to work, she must not intermingle with men in the workplace, and she must be very cautious if the nature of her work necessitates interaction with them. She must adhere to the legal hijab (definition) and modesty, and not soften her speech when conversing with men. Likewise, she must avoid being touched by a male doctor as much as possible, and she must not be in seclusion with any man.
