Does the presence of blood with urine due to urinary tract infections invalidate the fast or the prayer?

If a woman ascertains that the blood is not menstrual blood but rather an inflammation in the urinary tract, then it does not affect the fast nor prevent prayer. So, she should pray and fast. However, she must perform istinja' (ritual cleansing) from it because it is impure. If it is continuous, she should do what a woman experiencing istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) does, which is to take precautions and perform ablution for each prayer.
