Seeing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while awake after his death is not possible. However, seeing him in a dream is possible, but no new religious law is established thereby. The friends of Allah are the pious ones who obey His commands and avoid His prohibitions. As for contemporary Sufism, it is not free from innovations, superstitions, and misguided beliefs.
