Is the sin committed by a Muslim considered a harm to Allah and His Messenger?

All sins and acts of disobedience that are committed fall under the category of harming Allah and His Messenger, for harm occurs by disobeying commands and committing prohibitions. Allah is far removed from being harmed, but the expression for that came in a way that people understand. This also includes finding fault with or belittling the Messenger.
