What is the ruling on closing a mosque throughout the week so that only Friday prayers, Taraweeh, and the two Eids are observed therein, given the presence of resident neighbors who perform their prayers in another nearby mosque? And what is the ruling on a mosque where all prayers are observed except for Friday prayer?

If there is a congregational mosque (Jāmi‘ masjid) and a small mosque for the prescribed prayers (fard) in a town, and the people of the area close the congregational mosque and pray the prescribed prayers in the small mosque, then they open the congregational mosque for Friday prayers, Tarawih, and the two Eids due to the large number of people, there is no harm in this, as there is no need for the congregational mosque for the five daily prayers.
