Is it permissible to offer the 'Aqiqah on behalf of oneself and one's sisters in a different country with the intention of helping the needy?

"The 'Aqiqah is a confirmed Sunnah. If the father did not perform the 'Aqiqah for his children, it is then recommended for one who has reached maturity to perform the 'Aqiqah for himself, but it is not obligatory. It is also permissible for him to perform the 'Aqiqah on behalf of his siblings with their permission. There is no objection to performing it in any place or at any time that is convenient for them, though it is more preferable for it to be in a place whose people are in need."
