What is the ruling on subscribing to a company that requires a certain amount of money to be paid to view its advertisements weekly, and that doubles the subscriber's balance based on that, with the subscriber receiving an additional amount for convincing others to join, given that the company claims to be an advertising intermediary for other companies?

It is not permissible to participate in this company due to the gambling and gharar (excessive uncertainty) involved. The participant may win or lose, and this is the gambling that Allah Almighty has forbidden in His saying: "O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone altars [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful." Therefore, the gain resulting from this action is an unlawful gain that must be abandoned.
