If a Muslim possesses ill-gotten wealth and wishes to dispose of it, then a sum less than the ill-gotten wealth is stolen from him, is his 'Umrah valid if he intends to perform it?

Unlawful money must be disposed of. If its owner is known, it must be returned to him, and it is not permissible to give it away as charity. However, if it was obtained from an interest-based institution, it is not permissible to return more than the principal amount to the usurers. The excess must be disposed of by spending it on the needy and public interests, and it is not permissible to spend it on oneself, one's children, or personal needs. Stolen money does not purify you, and it is not considered as unlawful money in the same category. 'Umrah must be performed with pure, lawful money.
