Does the disbelief of one who secretly reviled the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fall away if he then repents and renews his Islam? And does the fact that the punishment is a human right affect Allah's forgiveness, the validity of his Islam, and his entry into Paradise? Is the implementation of the punishment a condition for the acceptance of his repentance? And must he go to the Imam for the punishment to be carried out, or is secret repentance sufficient for him? How does he fulfill the personal right of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him? Is it sufficient for him to frequently invoke blessings upon him and seek forgiveness? And will the Prophet take from his good deeds on the Day of Resurrection?

Insulting the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is an act of disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam, without any disagreement among scholars. If the one who insulted repents with sincere repentance, then Allah will accept his repentance, because repentance wipes away what preceded it and erases all sins. The disagreement among scholars is concerning the lifting of the death penalty from the one who insulted due to repentance, not concerning his benefit from it with Allah Almighty in the Hereafter. Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" Sincere repentance is sufficient for its doer and spares him from needing to go to the Imam for the execution of the prescribed punishment. He must conceal himself and do good for the remainder of his life.
