Is a wife obligated to obey her husband in undergoing a permanent birth control procedure, given that she has not yet had children and wishes to conceive, while he refuses procreation due to their financial situation and her health, and insists on the procedure despite her viewing it as an injustice against her?

Procreation is a shared right between spouses, and it is not permissible for the husband to prevent his wife from it, whether totally or temporarily. This prohibition is further emphasized if the reason is fear of sustenance, for Allah has guaranteed it. There must be understanding between the spouses, and advice should be offered to the husband, seeking help from close relatives, and increasing in supplication. As for adoption, it is forbidden, but sponsoring and caring for an orphan without adopting them is permissible.
