What is the ruling on a father expelling his five daughters to the street after their mother's death, so that they may bring him money?

If a daughter does not have a husband, the father must spend on his daughter who does not own money and provide housing for her. He is not allowed to expel her from the home or compel her to work to earn money, because Islamic law does not obligate a woman to earn for her own sustenance or that of others. Rather, her sustenance is an obligation upon others if she is poor, whether she is married or not.
