Is working in an administrative role at a hotel that sells alcohol considered haram (forbidden) or makruh (reprehensible), even if the employee is not directly involved in its sale or serving?

It is not permissible to work in a hotel where sins such as drinking alcohol and fornication are committed, because it involves cooperation in sin and a failure to denounce evil. Allah Almighty said: (And He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, in that case, you would be like them. Indeed, Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together) An-Nisa/140. Thus, whoever sits in a gathering of sin and does not denounce them, shares in their burden. Furthermore, working in such places weakens faith and removes zeal from the heart, and Satan may tempt one to commit sin. And whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
