Is the husband justified in cutting off his relatives due to their wrongdoing against him and his siblings, considering that maintaining ties with them is a humiliation and an insult, and conditioning the end of the estrangement upon their apology?

Maintaining kinship ties is one of the greatest obligations, and severing them is a major sin. The one who truly maintains ties is he who connects with those who have cut him off and is good to those who have wronged him, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who maintains ties is not the one who reciprocates, but the one who maintains ties is he who, when his relatives cut him off, connects with them."

The husband must hasten to mend relations between himself and his maternal uncle and aunt, even if they are unjust, for forgiving the unjust is a cause of honor, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah does not increase a servant who forgives except in honor."

Whoever desires the reward of maintaining kinship ties should be patient with the harm from their relatives, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to the man who connected with his relatives while they cut him off: "If you are as you say, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and you will continue to have a helper from Allah against them as long as you remain in that state."

If the maternal uncle habitually transgresses, oppresses, and insults, there is no objection to reducing the relationship with him to the extent that it spares the husband his injustice and harm.
