What is the ruling on a mother who curses her children, insults them, and does not accept their greetings of peace?

A mother who curses her children and invokes evil upon them unjustly, and does not return their greetings, is doing wrong according to what the Sharia has prohibited, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Do not invoke evil upon yourselves, nor invoke evil upon your children, nor invoke evil upon your wealth." However, if her children oppress and disobey her, then her supplication against them is answered. And no matter how badly a mother treats her children, she still has a right over them, and it is not permissible for the children to cut ties with her or treat her poorly.
