Is breaking the fast by a nurse who is caring for a father suffering from a semi-comatose state and not fasting considered an expiation (fidyah) for the father's not fasting?

If the father is unconscious, he is not obligated to fast or pay the fidyah (expiatory feeding). However, if he is conscious and suffering from an illness from which recovery is not expected, then he must pay the fidyah by feeding a poor person. It is not permissible to give it to the nurse unless the nurse is poor and it is given with the intention of fidyah, not as payment for nursing services.
