What is the ruling on the purity of blood spattered from slaughtered animals, and is it permissible to pray in clothes stained with it?

The gushing blood that flows from the slaughtered animal at the time of slaughter is impure by consensus. As for the blood mixed with the meat or remaining in the veins, it is pure and not impure, also by consensus. The proof is the Almighty's saying: (Say, 'I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to a consumer who eats it, except that it be a dead animal or gushing blood or the flesh of swine — for indeed, that is impure — or a defiling sin of that which has been slaughtered in the name of other than Allah'). This blood that remains in the meat and veins does not invalidate ablution nor does it defile clothes.
