What is the ruling on an employee—especially a teacher—who does not accept the deduction of a day's absence from his salary, claiming that his salary is low compared to his work, and what is the ruling on the money he receives for that day?

The employee is obligated to adhere to the terms and conditions of the employment contract he signed, even if he perceives them to be unfair, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."

Accordingly, if the contract stipulates that the employee will not receive wages for days of absence, then this money is not lawful for him, and he must return it to the employer.
