What is the ruling on saying: "O Allah, spare us the evil of this laughter," or "O Allah, make this laughter good," after excessive laughter, taking into consideration the noble Hadith: "Excessive laughter deadens the heart"?

If the intent of the supplication is to seek refuge from the harm that excessive laughter brings upon a person, then there is no harm in it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against excessive laughter by saying: "Beware of excessive laughter, for it deadens the heart and takes away the light of the face."
