What is the ruling on mentioning the Iqamah in supererogatory prayers, such as the Shaf' and Witr?

The jurists have agreed that the Athan (call to prayer) and Iqama (second call to prayer) are legislated only for the five obligatory prayers and the Friday prayer. They are not to be performed for supererogatory regular prayers (Sunan Ratibah), nor for restricted or unrestricted voluntary prayers (Nawafil), such as the Witr and Shaf' prayers, the Eid prayers, the eclipse prayer, or the prayer for rain (Istisqa'). The proof for this is that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed the two Eid prayers without Athan or Iqama.
