What is the reason why some people's affairs are facilitated with ease, while the affairs of others require persistence in supplication, and is that considered a lack of blessing in the lives of the religiously committed?

This world is a place of trial, not a place of comfort, and a person will not achieve everything they desire in it. No one is free from distress and annoyance. If a person comprehends the true nature of this world, they will realize that what befalls them is by Allah's decree, for a great wisdom. A person should thank Allah for His many blessings and continuously reflect upon them, for they are immense and through them, one surpasses many others. Allah may withhold something from a person to open for them the door of supplication and persistence, so they may taste the sweetness of servitude and the pleasure of intimate communion and proximity to Allah. Look to those in the world who are less fortunate than you, persist in supplication, and do not rush.
