Will the Imam be rewarded for all the worshippers behind him?

Full and qualified imamate holds great virtue and immense reward, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Be the Imam of your people; if you cannot, then be their Muezzin." He was asked, "What if I cannot?" He replied, "Then be in the first row." As for the Imam receiving the reward of everyone who prays behind him, there is no evidence for this.
