What is the ruling on taking fatwas from websites—such as yours—and acting upon them in important matters like divorce and prayer, given that the muftis and their qualifications are unknown? Does this absolve one of responsibility? What must be done if it is not permissible? And can your fatwas be relied upon in the future?

An ordinary person is not permitted to rely on a website or an individual for a fatwa merely out of comfort. Rather, reliance must be placed on one of two matters: either the widespread reputation and public knowledge of the mufti's qualification, or the commendation of scholars known for their competence. This applies to websites as well; unless the competence of those managing them is established through the aforementioned methods, it is not permissible to rely on them.
