What is the manner of sitting for the Tashahhud if the latecomer has not reached the final sitting before the Imam's Taslim?

There are two types of sitting postures in prayer: Iftirash (resting on the left foot) and Tawarrruk (resting on the buttocks).

Iftirash: Sitting on the heel of the left foot while keeping the right foot upright. Tawarrruk: Placing the buttocks on the ground and extending both feet out to the right side.

For a latecomer (masbuq), sitting in the final Tashahhud should be in the Iftirash posture, because Tawarrruk is specific to the very last sitting in the prayer, and this is not the latecomer's last sitting.

Examples of Iftirash postures include: sitting between the two prostrations, the first Tashahhud sitting, the rest-sitting, the latecomer's sitting, the sitting of one who errs (sahi), and the sitting of a person praying while seated for recitation.
