Is a pilgrim in a state of ihram required to do anything if he wears a medical neck brace?

It is permissible to wear a medical neck brace during Ihram for Umrah, and it is recommended to offer a fidyah (expiation) for it—which is a choice between sacrificing a sheep, or fasting for three days, or feeding six needy persons—keeping in mind that the opinion stating that fidyah is not obligatory in this case is a strong one, supported by the permissibility of bandaging wounds during Ihram.
