Does the use of perfumes containing alcoholic substances invalidate the prayer?

There is no harm in using alcoholic perfumes on the body and clothes, and this does not affect the validity of prayer. The basic principle regarding things is purity. Khamr (wine/alcohol) is not ritually impure in a tangible sense; rather, it is vile from a moral perspective. Not everything that is forbidden is ritually impure. Based on this, cologne and perfumes that contain alcohol are not impure, and clothes do not need to be purified from them.
