Is money earned from accounting work in a tobacco factory, which its owner still uses to buy a house, unlawful or lawful?

Unlawful wealth must be disposed of by spending it on the welfare of Muslims or giving it to the poor. If you are poor, it is permissible for you to take from it what covers your essential needs. Al-Ghazali mentioned that unlawful wealth should be given in charity to the poor. If you spend from it on yourself, restrict it as much as possible, and be frugal with your dependents. If you host a poor person, be generous to him, but as for the rich, do not feed them except out of necessity. If unlawful wealth is in the possession of your parents, refrain from eating with them, and if they disapprove, there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator; rather, you should forbid them. However, if the unlawful or doubtful wealth belongs to an unknown owner, and it is permissible to spend it on oneself for a need, it is not permissible to voluntarily perform Hajj using a mount purchased with it, as that is not among the necessities.
