The agent entrusted with distributing alms must adhere to the method specified by the sender, as he is a trustee and their representative. If he sees a more beneficial method, he should inform the sender. If the sender insists on their original stance, then the agent must adhere to what was specified. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa stating the necessity of adhering to the principal's instructions and distributing the money as ordered, without purchasing anything with it unless authorized, and compensating for anything that has already been disposed of.
