What is the ruling on prioritizing the obligatory prayer over the Fajr supererogatory prayer if the worshiper fears passing gas, and is it a condition to renew ablution for the obligatory prayer after performing the supererogatory prayer with the same ablution, by analogy with the ruling on a woman with irregular bleeding?

If a person suffers from chronic flatulence ( سلس الريح - incontinence of wind), he should perform ablution after the entry of the prayer time, then pray the supererogatory (nafila) prayers first, followed by the obligatory (fard) prayers. Whatever exits from him then will not harm him.

However, if he does not suffer from incontinence, he may pray the obligatory prayer first if he fears the emission of gases, and then perform the supererogatory prayer afterwards.

But if he does not suffer from incontinence and begins with the supererogatory prayer, and then breaks his ablution, he is required to repeat his ablution.
