Is the first or second repudiation counted for a man after he takes his wife back before the minor irrevocable divorce? And is it necessary for the wife to hear about the taking back? And is it a condition to inform the wife of the divorce for it to occur?

If a man divorces his wife less than three times and then takes her back (revises her), she returns to him with the remaining number of divorces he has left. This applies whether the raj'a (revocation of divorce) occurs within the iddah (waiting period) or through a new marriage contract. The validity of the divorce or the raj'a does not depend on the wife hearing about it, knowing about it, or consenting to it. However, the wife must be informed of the divorce due to the legal rulings and rights that follow from it. It is also recommended to inform her of the raj'a to prevent mafasid (harms/corruptions).
