What is the ruling on studying at a Catholic university where one is not compelled to study Catholic subjects, and is it permissible to pray there?

Studying in schools that praise disbelievers and their religions and disparage Islam poses a danger to a Muslim ignorant of the teachings of their religion. However, for a Muslim who is firm in their faith and the pillars of their religion, and who needs these schools to learn a trade or specific knowledge, and is confident that they will not be affected by their lessons nor be forced to take subjects related to Catholicism, there is no harm in studying there. The fear lies with the ignorant person who does not know the cunning and deception of the disbelievers.
