What is the ruling on a husband having sexual intercourse with his wife after her period has ended and the bleeding stopped for one day, then returned again?

It is permissible for a husband to approach his wife after the cessation of the second bleeding, as well as after the cessation of the first bleeding and purification from it. However, if the intention is to approach her during the second bleeding, which occurred one day after purification, then according to Imam Ahmad's madhhab, there is no harm in it as long as it does not recur; otherwise, it would be considered menstruation.
