Is it permissible to say: "O Allah, manage [affairs] for me, for I do not manage well"? And is it permissible to say: "O Allah, I have believed the vision and I await Your promise, for indeed Allah's promise is true" when interpreting a dream as good tidings?

The saying: "O Allah, manage my affairs, for I am not good at managing them" is good and there is no harm in it, for it contains an element of delegating matters to Allah Almighty. However, asserting the truthfulness of a dream is something that should not be done, for it might be from one's own thoughts, and its truthfulness cannot be asserted except by the realization of its interpretation. One should pray to Allah Almighty for the bringing of good and the repelling of evil.
