What is the ruling on implementing an "intensive" prayer schedule during holidays, which includes distributing two rak'ahs every hour from 6 AM to 11 AM, and the Sunnah prayer of Dhuhr, Dhuhr, the post-Dhuhr Sunnah, two rak'ahs for ablution, Asr prayer, the Sunnah of ablution, Maghrib prayer, the Sunnah of Maghrib, Isha prayer, the Sunnah of Isha, eleven rak'ahs of Qiyam al-Layl, Witr, and the Sunnah of Fajr and Fajr, and is this considered extremism in religion?

Islamic law has specified certain times for the obligatory prayers and for their pre- and post- [Sunnah] supererogatory prayers (rawātib), and these rawātib continue until the time for the obligatory prayer expires. There are supererogatory prayers that have specific times (like the two Eid prayers), and supererogatory prayers that have specific causes (like tahiyyat al-masjid - greeting the mosque), and unrestricted supererogatory prayers that have no specific time or cause and can be performed at any time except during times of dislike (karāha) (after Fajr and Asr, and when the sun is at its zenith). The obligatory prayer is performed within its time, and its best time is at the beginning of its prescribed period, and in congregation. The prescribed rawātib should not be delayed. Prayers with specific causes should be performed when their causes exist, even if it is a time of dislike, without deliberately creating the cause. Unrestricted supererogatory prayers can be performed at any time except during times of dislike. A person may set a program for themselves to pray a certain number [of rak'ahs] that suits their time and ability.
