How is Zakat on crops to be paid for wheat grown for pasta production and sold immediately after harvest for fifteen thousand Egyptian pounds?

The basic principle of Zakat is that it should be given from the same type of wealth upon which Zakat is due. However, it is permissible to pay its value (in money) if that is more beneficial for the poor person. Therefore, there is no harm in paying the value of Zakat on crops.
