Is the husband obliged to obey his mother by not bringing his wife's father into his home, for fear of her anger?

The right of the mother is great, and honoring her is one of the best acts of devotion. A righteous wife should help her husband honor his mother. The husband should combine honoring his mother with treating his wife well. Obedience to the mother is not obligatory in preventing the arrival of the wife's father. He can be brought without the mother's knowledge, or by using stratagems to justify it, and employing allusions and dissimulation when there is a need to lie.
