The answer

The land of Palestine is an Islamic land; it is not permissible for an infidel, whether Jewish, Christian, or pagan, to rule it. The Jews' reliance on the verse: ﴿O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah’s cause] and [thus] become losers.﴾ [Quran 5:21] is an argument against them, not for them, because it indicates that Allah commanded the Muslims from among the people of Moses to fight the pagan enemies of Allah who had seized Palestine, as it is an Islamic land. The religion of all prophets is Islam; Allah has no religion other than it. It is not permissible for the infidel Jews, who denied the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to rule Palestine. Muslims must expel them from it, just as the companions of Moses expelled the infidels from it. The land belongs to the Muslims, not to the Children of Israel, forever.
