Is the land of Palestine the property of the Jewish people of the Children of Israel, and is it their right because Allah commanded Moses and, after him, Joshua Bin Nun, to enter it and fight its Canaanite inhabitants, the ancestors of the Palestinians, as mentioned in Surat Al-Baqarah?

Moses called his people to enter the Holy Land that Allah had ordained for them. This does not mean that it is the property of the Children of Israel forever, for the earth belongs to Allah, and He bequeaths it to whomever He wills among His believing, pious servants. Allah enabled the Jews to inhabit it for a period, but when they disobeyed and killed the prophets, those who were empowered over them were given authority. Then, times became alternating states until Allah enabled the Muslims to inhabit it during the days of Umar. The right to it belongs to whoever believes in Allah, obeys Him, and follows the messengers, and not merely to someone because they are from the Children of Israel, especially since most of the current Jews are not from them.
